I work on interaction design for a variety of sites and pages. Additionally, duties include usability testing, research and analysis, and some strategy work. Primary deliverables are annotated wireframes (omnigraffle), prototypes (axure), presentations (ppt) and usability test results (various).

-Designed a guide for out-of-towners that was consistent with the conference's existing branding, and offered a wide selection of the Twin Cities best locations for participants with free time.
-Managed the Help and Registration desk throughout the weekend.
-Communicated frequently with Bethel's Conference Services to ensure the needs and concerns of CIVA were addressed, also to ensure CIVA's proper use of the space per Conference Services guidelines.
-Troubleshot and set up technology for break away sessions and nightly presentations.
-Gathered materials for and prepared nightly PowerPoint presentations. Presentation material was gathered from attendees during the weekend, requiring extremely quick turnover into polished PowerPoint slides.
-Ran the presentation software during the presentations.
-Aided speakers and leaders with a variety of tasks and needs (procuring audio mp3s, setting up presentation materials, etc.)
-Assisted with take down and clean up after the conference ended.
-Packaged and properly mailed art to artists leaving work for a longer-running exhibition.

Astronomer Uses Giant Telescope to View Mars
George A. Van Biesbroeck (1880-1974), astronomer at Yerkes Observatory observing Mars when it approached close to the earth in 1926, and using the 40 inch refracting telescope, the largest of its kind in the world.

Paper Art: Another birthday card (I’ll only be uploading my faves from now on cause some have been lackluster). For an old and dear friend who just moved from Minnesota to Maine to start a new job-which is why I choose the moose theme :)
As always with these cards, the inside says “Hope your birthday is SWEET!” and on the back, the cupcake flavor is customized to the flavor preferences of the birthday boy/girl.
And of course-sent via my handmade envelopes with my art on it-this time some ancient boards.
